Like other libraries, the Tech Desk now requires a barcode scan of your SUID card prior to checkout. Items on loan now have due dates. By default, all items at Meyer are due at closing time of the day after checkout, but we highly recommend that you return your equipment whenever you leave Meyer. Upon equipment check-in, the items will be taken off your record.
1. You may check out multiple pieces of equipment, though we ask that you only check out what you need in the immediate time, as others may be waiting to use the equipment also.
2. You can look up and renew (only once per item) Meyer library items you have checked out by going to http://catalog.stanford.edu and clicking the "My Account" button and following the directions to view your checked out items.
3. You will receive email notification when you keep our equipment beyond the due date. Patrons will be billed for overdue returns and billed the full replacement cost for items never returned, enabling us to replace lost items and maintain a high level of service to you. All fines should be paid at Green Library.
4. Holds and requests for interlibrary loans of our equipment are never honored. All items are first-come, first-served.
