If you have problems or can't find your answer on this page, call a consultant at the Meyer Tech desk (723-9407).
To print from a Tresidder Cluster Macintosh you need to have either money on your StanfordCardPlan or local ACOMP credit. Select print from the application that you wish to print from. The PDnotify confirmation box will then appear, if you have both local "ACOMP" credit and money on your StanfordCardPlan then you can use the drop down box to select from which account to charge the printing costs to.
All of our laser printers print
at 1200 dpi.

We require that all users pay for printing with the StanfordCardPlan. The local ACOMP printing account is only used for refunds, and money can not be added to this account.
To add money to your CardPlan account, bring your Stanford ID card to the first floor of Old Union or to one of the DART machines. The DART machines accept cash only and are located in Tresidder Union just outside the Tresidder Cluster and next to the stairwell on the first floor of Meyer Library.
With credit in your CardPlan account, you may print to either Tresidder printer or the printers at Meyer. You can use this same account to print in your dorm, buy food at various concessions on campus (such as TresEx and the Coffee House), and pay for health services at Cowell, among other things.
A Meyer Cluster consultant can check the balance on your CardPlan if you present your Stanford ID. You can check yourself by bringing your ID to a DART machine or by visiting the Student Balances Web page. For more information on the Stanford CardPlan and how you can use it, visit the StanfordCardPlan Web site or call (650) 498-PLAN.
All of Tresidder Cluster's printers
normally use 8.5" x 11", white, 20 lb. bond paper. Other materials,
such as envelopes, legal-sized paper, and acetate transparencies, should
be fed through the manual feed tray to avoid paper jams. Please
be aware that when using your own media, you print at your own risk.
Refunds are in the form of local ACOMP credit only. We regret that we cannot offer CardPlan or cash refunds. The page(s) for which you wish to receive a refund must be presented to a consultant.
Your account will be credited for each unsatisfactory page multiplied by the per-page cost ($0.10 cents for black and white laser printing) if the problem was caused by one of the following:a printer or toner malfunction (e.g. paper jams, streaks, low toner).
a bug in an application or the Cluster printing system
accidentally sending more than one copy to the printer
any formatting problem not caused by a bug
unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds if you forget to log out and someone else prints using your print quota
